Delhi's peak power demand increased by 711 MW on hot, humid days, compared to 506 MW on cold, dry days, report says.

Delhi's peak power demand increased by an average of 711 MW on the hottest and most humid days in the last 12 months, according to a new report from the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis. This is compared to a 506 MW increase on cold and dry days and only a 188 MW rise on days with moderate temperature and humidity levels. Wet-bulb temperature was used as a yardstick in the analysis.
