New Zealand Customs acknowledges its international partners for stopping 1.6 tonnes of drugs from reaching NZ shores. In recognition of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Customs highlights the importance of global cooperation in fighting drug smuggling and organised crime. During the first five months of 2024, Customs' international cooperation networks have successfully thwarted drug trafficking attempts.
