New Zealand authorities, alongside US law enforcement, have prevented almost 200kg of methamphetamine from reaching NZ and Australia's borders through a 12-month transnational task force led by the FBI. The joint force, including Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Agency, identified a drug-trafficking organisation and seized the illicit substances. Five arrests were made in the US.
