Governor Evers orders flags to half-staff in honor of slain youth counselor Corey Proulx.
Governor Evers issued Executive Order #231 to fly U.S. and Wisconsin flags at half-staff in tribute to youth counselor Corey Proulx, 49, killed on duty at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on June 27, 2024, and on Proulx's interment date, which is yet to be announced. Evers praised Proulx as a dedicated public servant with kindness and compassion for youth.
