Eight people died in a fire at an office building near Moscow, with two people jumping to their death from the top floors and six killed when the interior of the building collapsed. The fire in Fryazino, around 15 miles northeast of Moscow, was caused by a malfunctioning electrical system and worsened by exploding tanks of oxygen. The building may have housed parts of a Russian defence business, with 30 companies renting offices within.
