16-storey Karachi building fire damages 4 floors, injures 6, including rescuers; 50 evacuated, 3rd significant fire this month.
A fire broke out in a 16-storey building on Sharea Faisal near Karachi's Metropole area, damaging the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th floors. Six people, including rescue personnel, were left unconscious, with two women taken to the hospital. The fire was extinguished with help from 12 fire tenders and two snorkels, and all 50 people inside were evacuated. This is the third significant fire incident reported in Karachi this month.
