2 people died and 6 were injured in a fire that broke out at a 6-story Washington Heights apartment building in Manhattan, NYC, at 1:45 a.m. A 74-yr-old man and a 77-yr-old woman were found unconscious in the apartment where the fire started. Other residents and firefighters were treated for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
