A Japan Airlines (JAL) flight bound for Osaka made an emergency landing at Japan's Aomori Airport on June 22 due to suspected engine fire. JAL Flight 2154, with 47 passengers and crew members on board, took off from Aomori Airport and shortly after, an engine issue forced the plane to turn back and land safely at the departure airport. No injuries were reported, and flames were seen coming from the left engine during the flight. Japan Airlines arranged for passengers to be transferred to two other flights to continue their journey.
