1960s-era abuse inquiried at King Charles' former school, Gordonstoun, Scotland, revealed by Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.

King's former school, Gordonstoun, faced decades of abuse, according to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry. Children who boarded at the Moray school and its associated junior school, Aberlour, were "exposed to risks of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse," said inquiry chairwoman Lady Smith. A lack of oversight, ineffective child protection measures, ill-prepared staff, and insufficient recruitment policies contributed to the abuse, which continued "for a long time" at the school where King Charles attended from 1962 to 1967.
