On his coronation anniversary, King Charles becomes patron of Gordonstoun Association, succeeding his late father.
On the first anniversary of his coronation, King Charles has become patron of the Gordonstoun Association, the school he attended in Scotland from 1962 to 1967. The role was previously held by his father, the late Duke of Edinburgh. King Charles's involvement with the school marks his first official link with the Moray institution. The Gordonstoun Association aims to promote and strengthen ties between former students and the school.
