Florida's recent educational laws and policies, according to Florida Rising, the Rule of Law Impact Lab at Stanford Law School, and Human Rights Watch, fuel discrimination and fear, particularly against Black and LGBTQ students. The 86-page report, "‘Why Do They Hate Us So Much?’: Discriminatory Censorship Laws Harm Education in Florida," suggests that the federal government should be doing more to address curriculum censorship that promotes discrimination.
