1.89 million people signed up for China's social worker vocational qualification exam in 2024, a 26% increase from 2023. The exam, held over the weekend, saw 1.16 million people in China with professional qualifications in social work, who work in areas like child welfare, elderly care services, and social assistance. More than 50 visually impaired candidates also participated in the exam.
