China has published guidelines to improve its voluntary service system, aiming to create a well-established, efficient, and collaborative system by 2035. The guidelines, released by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, focus on areas such as mobilization, supply, and personnel organization of voluntary services, and cover nine key areas including voluntary culture, support systems, and international exchanges. China currently has 236 million registered volunteers.
