3 kindergarten teachers & a nursery assistant in Melaka pleaded not guilty to neglect & abuse charges involving 2 children under their care. The accused, Jamia Abd Rahman, 41, and Nur Hanis Azwani Ghazali, 24, face charges under the Child Act 2001, which carries a maximum 20-year imprisonment or a fine not exceeding RM50,000 if convicted. Bail was set at RM7,000 in one surety for each accused, with a remention date set for July 30.
