Seoul ranks 9th best for startup ecosystems in 2024 Global Startup Ecosystem Report by US firm Startup Genome, up from 12th in 2022. The city's startup ecosystem value is $223.4B, a fivefold increase from 2021. Seoul leads in AI, big data, analytics, bioscience, high-tech manufacturing, and robotics, with around 20 "unicorn" firms. Silicon Valley tops the list, followed by New York and London.
