2 ex-Punjab Police officers, Dilbagh Singh (former DSP) and Gurbachan Singh (former SHO), convicted in 1993 Tarn Taran fake encounter case involving extra-judicial killing of fruit seller Gulshan Kumar. Special CBI court found them guilty of abducting, unlawful detention, and staging Kumar's murder as an encounter. Sentencing to be announced. CBI presented 32 witnesses, including eyewitnesses, with evidence disproving the officers' false narratives.
