Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has announced that cyclist and pedestrian access to the LaSalle Causeway will close on June 5 at 9 am for the demolition of the Bascule Bridge. The government aims to ensure public safety and is collaborating with the City of Kingston to develop a temporary modular bridge solution for restoring access.
