Tajikistan's Ministry of Energy and Water Resources and IFC signed an MoU to develop geothermal energy, aiming to transition to renewable and eco-friendly energy sources and reduce dependence on imported electricity. Geothermal energy, a clean and sustainable source, can provide energy 24/7 and compete with fossil fuels. The initiative also aims to enhance Dushanbe's infrastructure and contribute to global climate change efforts.
