President Marcos establishes a Technical Working Group for streamlining agricultural import policies in the Philippines.
President Marcos has created a Technical Working Group (TWG) to streamline policies, remove non-tariff barriers, and ease red tape for agricultural imports in the Philippines. The TWG will collaborate with the National Economic and Development Authority's Committee on Tariff and Related Matters to allow imports beyond Minimum Access Volume, reduce or eliminate fees, and improve logistics, transport, and storage. This move aims to enhance food security in accordance with Administrative Order 20.
