Two Citgo oil executives, brothers Alirio and Jose Luis Zambrano, detained for nearly five years in Venezuela have sued their former employer for over $400 million. The brothers, among six Citgo executives, were imprisoned in Venezuela after attending a meeting at the company's parent, PDVSA. They allege that Citgo conspired to lure them to the South American country under false pretenses and later abandoned them as they endured harsh prison conditions for crimes they did not commit.
