Venezuelan news owner Raul Gorrin indicted by US Justice Dept for alleged $1.2bn laundering linked to PDVSA corruption.

Raul Gorrin Belisario, the owner of a Venezuelan news network, has been indicted by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly laundering $1.2 billion linked to corrupt dealings with Venezuela's state oil company, PDVSA. He is accused of facilitating bribes to Venezuelan officials in exchange for these funds. Gorrin, who is on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's “Most Wanted List,” faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
