Canada's Ad Standards body finds Canada Action Coalition's LNG ads misleading and breaching ad standards.

Canada's Ad Standards body has unanimously determined that the Canada Action Coalition's ads, claiming B.C. liquefied natural gas (LNG) "will reduce global emissions," distorted scientific and professional statements and amounted to "greenwashing." The non-governmental industry group breached five clauses of Canada's code for advertising standards, with the ads found to be inaccurate and deceptive.
