37-year-old Mapleton man, Nicholas Bruesch, with a criminal history, is arrested after intentionally hitting a pedestrian and fleeing from police into the Sheyenne River. The victim, who is known to Bruesch, sustained non-life threatening injuries. West Fargo Police located Bruesch and his vehicle, but he sped away, later abandoning his vehicle and walking away. He was later arrested for reckless endangerment.
