Man facing multiple charges, including DUI, after fleeing police pursuit, crashing into law enforcement vehicles.

Shawn Bjerke, a Grand Forks man, faces multiple charges, including DUI, after fleeing from a police pursuit that also involved a Trail County Deputy and North Dakota Highway Patrol. During the chase, Bjerke crashed into two law enforcement vehicles. He was charged with reckless endangerment, fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license. After receiving medical treatment for minor injuries, he was taken to the Grand Forks Correctional Center.
