21-year-old men arrested in Palmerston North after fleeing police, hit pedestrian, stopped with spike strips.
Two men (both 21) were arrested in Palmerston North after fleeing police on Pioneer Highway. One suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The car hit a pedestrian on Pitt Street and continued towards Tremaine Avenue before being stopped using spike strips on Seddon Street and Tremaine Avenue. The arrested men were found at separate locations, and the police reported that the pedestrian was not seriously injured.
