A missing 14-inch alligator with taped mouth was lost at Lakeview Middle School in Kansas City, MO. The alligator was part of a petting zoo exhibit for an end-of-year celebration. The school did not acquire the required permit for the petting zoo under Chapter 14 of the city code. KC Pet Project's Animal Services Division is searching for the alligator at the school site.
