3-ft alligator seized from Bellevue, KY home; owner unaware of possession law; charges pending.

The owner had purchased the alligator at a reptile show in Indiana without realizing it was illegal to possess in Kentucky, where alligators are classified as "inherently dangerous." Charges against the homeowner are pending as Kentucky law prohibits the ownership of such exotic animals.
