New Orleans police and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries are seeking public assistance to locate a missing three-foot alligator last seen on May 30 at the intersection of Esplanade and Dauphine. The alligator was reportedly with two individuals, and Louisiana law prohibits keeping wild or exotic animals, including alligators, as pets without a permit.
