Bangladeshi doctor and climber, Babar Ali, successfully scaled Mount Everest on May 19th, raising the Bangladeshi flag for the fifth time at the peak. This marks the first time in 11 years that a Bangladeshi has achieved this feat. Ali, a member of the Vertical Dreamers mountaineering club, has summited 11 of the world's highest peaks since 2014 and is now aiming to become the first Bangladeshi to summit Mount Lhotse.
