15-year-old Xinjiang teenager, Alikut Dilxat, becomes the youngest Chinese climber to summit Mt. Qomolangma (Everest), attracting national attention. Influenced by his father, the captain of the Xinjiang Mountaineering Sports Service Center's outdoor rescue team, Alikut began mountaineering at age 10. His father had long cherished the wish to climb the mountain, but it was his son who fulfilled the dream.
