Eastern Shipbuilding Group (ESG) begins phase two of a major infrastructure project at its government facility, investing in 1,000 linear feet of bulkhead, extending the launch facility by 120 feet, and dredging berthing spaces. These improvements will support the US Navy's initiative to expand the shipbuilding industrial base and meet national defense strategy demands. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
