A storm with high winds hit Marion on Tuesday, causing damage to buildings, trees, and infrastructure. Main Street was closed due to damage, and parts of it reopened. Current closures include Dozier Street to Arch Street and Witcover Street up to the TD Bank drive-thru, with no expected reopening until Wednesday.
