Roanoke storm damages commercial building, rips off roof, blows it onto another, causing non-life-threatening injuries and power outage.
A storm on Sunday night in Roanoke caused significant damage to a commercial building on Roanoke Ave SW, ripping off the roof and blowing it onto another building. The Roanoke Fire-EMS Department was called to the scene and found the roof of one building off and onto another. One person was evaluated on the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Korte St. SW remains blocked, and power is out in the area.
