A tornado rated EF-2 struck Claremore, Oklahoma, causing widespread damage including downed power lines, trees, and damage to homes and buildings. 19 people were transported to hospitals with three injuries classified as life-threatening. Rescue teams are working to assess damage and help affected residents. City officials have closed roads until noon and only residents with ID will be allowed to enter after that. The Red Cross has set up a respite and resource center at Memorial Heights Baptist Church.
