Severe storms with suspected tornadoes hit southern Indiana and northern Kentucky, causing damage to numerous homes, leaving thousands without electricity, and destroying multiple structures. The storms damaged homes and trailers in the Ohio River communities of Hanover and Lamb in Indiana, and at least 50 structures, including homes, were damaged in Kentucky. No immediate injuries were reported, and the National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for parts of Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri until 9 pm central time.
