Toronto's Equinox Bridge, a $9M federally-funded suspended arch pedestrian bridge, connects downtown and emerging Quayside, linking Villiers Island's new housing and green space.
Toronto's waterfront will soon feature a new pedestrian bridge, the Equinox Bridge, a suspended arch design chosen to connect downtown and emerging neighbourhoods like Quayside. The bridge will link new housing and green space on Villiers Island, Toronto's next waterfront community, providing easy access to hundreds of new homes and the natural beauty at the Port Lands. The federal government has invested $9 million in the bridge's design and construction.
