Kenyan High Court orders preservation of Sh61 million seized from Ibrae Doko, nephew of former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani, on corruption suspicion.

The Kenyan High Court has ordered the preservation of Sh61 million ($460,000) seized from the home of Ibrae Doko, nephew of former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani. The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) suspects the funds are proceeds of corruption or unexplained wealth and has presented their case before the court. The court has granted a six-month preservation order for the seized funds.
