Nigeria's Federal High Court criticizes govt for poor prosecution of ex-terrorist negotiator Tukur Mamu, who seeks transfer for medical treatment; court adjourns for ruling on May 20.

Nigeria's Federal High Court in Abuja has criticized the Nigerian government for lack of diligent prosecution in the case against former terrorist negotiator Tukur Mamu, who is accused of aiding terrorists and financing terrorism. Mamu's lawyers have requested for his transfer to Kuje Correctional Centre for medical attention, arguing that the DSS has failed to obey a previous court order. The court has adjourned the case until May 20 for a ruling on Mamu's request.
