48-year-old crop duster pilot, James Roberson, narrowly avoided injury after his 1998 Air Tractor AT-602 hit power lines in Sumner County, Kansas on Thursday, around 10:40 a.m. The incident occurred during crop-dusting operations in the 400 block of N. Hydraulic, 5 miles northeast of Wellington. Despite the damaged power lines, Roberson landed the undamaged plane at a nearby airport and did not suffer any injuries.
