A small plane had to make an emergency landing in Harvey County, Kansas, after its engine failed and would not restart. The 71-year-old pilot, from Wichita, managed to land the 1991 Robbins Wesley RV-4 Fixed Wing Aircraft safely in a field near SE 24th Street and Oliver Road without any injuries or damage to the aircraft. The Kansas Highway Patrol and Newton Fire/EMS responded to the incident.
