Detective Garda Robert Fitzharris has launched a High Court action to halt internal Garda disciplinary proceedings against him, after his home was searched and devices seized in October 2021. Fitzharris alleges that the devices contained communications with another person, including sensitive and secret information about ongoing investigations. He has been suspended from duty since the seizure.
