NCAA approves in-helmet communication devices and a two-minute warning in college football.

The NCAA approved new rule changes for the upcoming college football season, introducing options for in-helmet communication devices and a two-minute warning during second and fourth quarters. FBS teams will be allowed to use a device in one player's helmet for coach-to-player communication, similar to the NFL's system. Additionally, the NCAA will implement automatic timeouts with two minutes left in the second and fourth quarters, similar to the NFL's practice, but these will not be additional television timeouts.
