Palestinian American poet Fady Joudah wins $100,000 Jackson Poetry Prize for his "significant and evolving body of work." The award, given annually to an American writer of "exceptional talent," was selected by a panel of three poets. Joudah's books include "The Earth in the Attic" and "Tethered to the Stars," along with English-language translations of Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
