Five high school students, including Sofia Kamal from Phoenix, have been selected as National Student Poets by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Representing different U.S. regions, each poet will engage with youth through readings and workshops and receive a $5,000 award. This initiative celebrates young artists and promotes community involvement in the arts.
