Long Beach police fatally shot a man carrying a firearm in Cambodia Town's MacArthur Park after he failed to drop his weapon upon officers' commands. The suspect was given first aid and taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. No officers were injured during the incident. The Long Beach Police Department is reviewing body-worn camera footage and plans to release it to the public.
