Man shot dead by police in DC after car crash, attempted gun grab, and refusing to drop weapon.

A man was shot and killed by police in Southeast Washington, D.C., after crashing his car into a McDonald's and attempting to grab an officer's gun. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when officers found the man unresponsive with a gun in his lap. After he moved and refused to drop the weapon, two officers fired at him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The officers are on administrative leave, and the incident is under investigation.
