27-year-old Soko Muchimba from Binga appeared in court for assaulting a police officer. He pleaded guilty before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube and was remanded in custody until April 25. The incident occurred on April 13 at 10pm near Bulawayo's Youth Centre, where he attacked a police officer with a brick after being approached by seven officers during a stop and search patrol.
