42-year-old Winnipeg man bites police officer, resists arrest, and is charged with assaulting a peace officer.

42-year-old Winnipeg man, in an incident of erratic behavior & drug use, bit a police officer & tried biting another during his arrest. Tenants from the apartment building threw objects at officers. The suspect was charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, failing to comply with bail conditions & remains in custody. The injured officer received medical care.
