Judge Binta Nyako postponed the arraignment of four kidnapping suspects in Imo state due to AGF's absence; amended charges stand.

Judge Binta Nyako postponed the arraignment of four suspects accused of kidnapping and killing Imo state's traditional ruler, Eze Basil Njoku, due to the absence of Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, or his representative. The suspects now face five counts in the amended charges. If the AGF or his representatives fail to appear on the next adjourned date, the court may strike out the charges against the defendants.
