Chief Judge of Federal High Court orders open hearing for Yahaya Bello's money laundering case transfer.

Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, orders former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello's request for money laundering case transfer to be heard openly. The case, involving a pending appeal for case reassignment, is currently before trial judge Justice Emeka Nwite. The EFCC charge against Bello is set for hearing on July 17. Meanwhile, a Federal High Court in Kaduna adjourns former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai's case against the State House of Assembly and the Attorney General of the State to July 17, 2024, as respondents request an extension to file applications.
